Aside from the crispy ham or bacon and the cheese, I love how these perfect flaky scones melt-in-your-mouth. Plus, they’re made with lots of butter. One bite and you’re in breakfast heaven!
Over 1000 recipes and it shows, the book is massive. The recipes cover cuisine from all over the world and that is wonderful. You can look up recipes such as Japanese, Korean, Thai, French, Hungarian, Jewish, Italian, Mexican, Turkish and many more. This is great if you want to experiment outside of American cuisine. It can be a wonderful way to introduce your family to the cuisine of other cultures. I try to teach my kids about other cultures and we will research an area and learn about that area and I will prepare a dish from that culture, this is one of the cookbooks I turn to when looking for a recipe.

Growing up in an Old-World Italian home these fried flowers were perhaps one of my favorite summertime recipes. It’s a tradition I’ve passed down and now make for my family. You can serve them on their own on an antipasto platter or tossed with your favorite pasta and fresh sauce. No matter how you choose to enjoy them though, these delicate blossoms will soon become your favorite seasonal go-to!

Frittatas are fun because you can put your own spin on them. There are so many fillings and garnishes to add to your stovetop or oven-baked frittatas. You can even make them in a large pan or in little bite-sized cups.
I love that paninis are still all trendy-like. And because every corner coffee shop now has a press (and so do I!), I only have to eat a cold sandwich out of pure desperation. However, you don't even need a panini press for this sandwich - I use a frying pan. But it still qualifies as a gourmet sandwich.
The biggest mistake you can make when cooking fish is to overcook it especially tuna and swordfish. They will taste like dried out cardboard if overcooked.
