HAM AND BROCCOLI STRATA | A strata is sort of like a savory bread pudding and this version has ham, cheese, and broccoli. You make it the night before to give the bread a chance to absorb the eggs and then bake it in the morning. You get some crispy, toasted bread on top while the middle is more eggy and soft.
A protein-packed update to breakfast hash, this chickpea and vegetable breakfast skillet is a healthy way to jumpstart your morning.

This salad is reminiscent of something you might find at a seaside bistro, or at an old school New England restaurant. A one-bowl meal, this salad is as refreshing as it is satisfying, and is surprisingly versatile. While you can eat this on its own, consider layering it in pita bread with olives and cheese, or putting it in ‘salad bowls,’ or mixing it with fresh summer greens.
I’m a HUGE hummus lover. Give me a tub of hummus, some pita bread/crackers/veggies and I’ll be happy for hours. Did you know I have an awesome hummus recipe on the blog? I, personally, love making it from scratch as that way I get to control what I put in however there are some commercial ones you buy in the store that are awesome. Just be sure to use plain hummus and not flavored (unless you adjust your toppings to match or accent the flavors).
