What's your weekday breakfast scenario currently like? Mine is either warming up something I made ahead in the office microwave or sliding through a drive-through for a smoothie or something pseudo-healthy, sweating the whole time thinking there's no way I'll get to work on time. In an effort to have more mornings like the former than the latter, I've been turning to my arsenal of make-ahead breakfast recipes like this homemade instant oatmeal mix. I recently revived the easy egg muffins recipe I used to make during grad school and gave it a little gourmet twist, resulting in the breakfast scrambled egg muffins you see here today. This is a great meat-free option if you don’t want anything too heavy in the morning. Toast some Italian bread and add in your sliced creamy avocadoes, runny fried egg, and some Swiss and cheddar cheese.
Also, don’t use 100% extra virgin olive oil in your salad dressings. Cut it with some vegetable or Canola oil. Why? Because the olive oil will also overpower the flavor of the greens. You want to taste the lettuce with a slight layer of flavor attributed to the dressing.

The glossary is very helpful to me because occasionally I ran across an item that I did not know what it was like Asafetida(an Indian spice), Calabaza(pumpkin) and Urad Dal(black lentils).
