2 slices sliced ham8 California grape leaves (chard leaves can be substituted2 tablespoon pitted kalamata olives2 tablespoon roasted red bell peppers from jar (I use Mezzetta), drained and patted dry1 egg½ cup milk1 teaspoon oregano4 slices white bread (you can use any bread, but these hold up best)½ teaspoon minced or pureed garlic * I use garlic from a jar3 teaspoon mayonnaise1 teaspoon lemon rind2 teaspoon honey mustard4 slices swiss cheese4 tablespoon feta cheese , very finely crumbled2 tablespoon deli-sliced Golden Greek pepperoncini ( I use Mezzetta) you could substitute any hot pepper/tamed or regular jalapenos

It can be a wonderful way to introduce your family to the cuisine of other cultures. I try to teach my kids about other cultures and we will research an area and learn about that area and I will prepare a dish from that culture, this is one of the cookbooks I turn to when looking for a recipe.
